MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE are hoping to turn their latest album into a TV mini-series for the BBC.
The rockers were asked to make a movie and stage show from their last record, The Black Parade, but they refused because "it didn't feel right".
But the band is now hoping its upcoming album, Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys, will be transformed for the small screen in Britain.
Frontman Gerard Way says, "My dream is that it becomes a 10-part BBC mini-series. I would love that so much more than a movie. A lot of things that inspired me as a kid were those very things. I love Doctor Who.
"There were people who wanted to make a movie of The Black Parade. There was talk of Broadway and an animated film. But we pushed that stuff away as it didn't feel right. It wasn't a movie, it was an album."
